Lois, There's nothing more satisfying than finally seeing your own sprouted seeds grow into something beautiful. I finally had my Aquilegia white clemantine bloom and boy are they beautiful! Hope you can relax and enjoy for a little while.

LOL, Phil!! Great Pic. and I hope Char will grab it and save it for herself! I have both the Norway Maple and the Green Ash. My solutions is to use whiskey barrels or pots around them. I try to create "interest" in other ways, rather than just plopping them (the barrels) down under the trees, such as rocks and tiered, etc.! So glad you are "wintering" over with us, despite the severity of the cold all over! Hosta folk, stay warm in their hearts, just dreaming of Spring and hosta emerging! I hope you will stay with us throughout the seasons, and go over to the "conversation" side when you run out of hosta questions--well, maybe that will never happen, but we do have fun "in and out" of hosta discussions there, too!
