Just wanted to express my appreciation for everyone who has exchanged seeds with me in 2007. It was my biggest goal in the garden for this year to learn germination techniques better and to learn the tips and tricks for growing my favorite plants.

I've made some big mistakes (especially with moisture control) and the toughest native sages still baffle me, but I've manage to grow some beautiful salvias, foxglove, baptista, primrose, galliardia, lupines, buddleja and many others and I've finally found a homemade potting mix that works for me.

I don't know that I've saved any money, but I've sure enjoyed it, as well as feeling like I'm on an extended treasure hunt when I scour the neigborhood for interesting seeds and friendly gardeners who'll let me deadhead their plants.
