New Flower seed grown

This one flowered for the 1st time last year and surprised me, as most of the ones grown from seed were not what they were advertised as ie mosting white centres with pink, This one was sold on a well known site and the parent plant was kaleidoscope, there is a large double seed pod on this plant now, Im patiently waiting for it to ripen, so hope to grow some more offspring similar to this one.

The flower also looks much nicer in hand as there are subtle changes of the colour of that goes through washes of white to pink to purple

That is a nice looking flower and the shading is beautiful. The slight picoteed
edge adds to it also.
I have not enjoyed any of my seedlings in bloom as of yet. Soon. I imagine I will end up with some pinks and this is not an issue, but if I where growing thousands of seedlings. I would then be hoping for more color range.
All we can do is purchase seed from reputable individuals and hope for good results.

Hi everyone! Thank you for all the responses! And a special thank you to the_first_kms2. The mother plant was pink pansy! Amazingly, the flower pictured has a very subtle grape aroma. Have any of you grown Plumeria from seed where the resulting plant was identical to its parent? Chao Anh Andre! It's very nice to meet you! I have family in San Diego and go there on occasion for visits. I am in the Fort Worth, TX area. :)

Kerria, forsythia, mahonia, hypericum will all produce yellow flowers but none of them are very large. They tend to make up for lack of size with abundance :-) Try Googling with the botanical name and seeds - that should provide a number of sources (it did for the kerria and hypericum). But I too would start out with a small plant........growing just about any woody plant from seed is a long, multi-year process to get to a flowering stage.
