Ha! Everybody asks about your blue companion plant. It's a stunner! Your garden is lovelier than I've ever seen it, Ingrid. Wild Blue Yonder is grown here, but I don't know if it needs spraying. Your garden looks stunning. You've got so many blooms at the moment! I loved the pic Wild Blue Yonder, I'm going to google it soon to find out more about it. What are the pretty pink flowers all the way along the edge in the third picture. They look great. Thanks for sharing your lovely garden pics with us.

Holleygarden, the blue flower is statice, also known as sea lavender. The only drawback is that snails consider this plant a deluxe accommodation.

Sherry and Sanju, Wild Blue Yonder has big, fragrant flowers but at least for me it's a tall, gangly plant no matter how viciously I cut it back. The pink plant along the driveway is more lavender in real life and is called, quite appropriately, Lavender Dream. It's grown a lot since last year. The few rather blown flowers in the left part of the picture are Mrs. Wood's Lavender Pink Noisette, which is a really pretty rose. The pink blobs below the boulders are three plants of Le Vesuve.

The front garden looks rather bare since we took out Julia Child and moved her to our little cutting garden. Many of the plants are small bands, since I had to discard plants like Ebb Tide, Route 66, Lady Hillingdon, Centennaire de Lourdes, Felicia etc. etc. for one reason or another. It really sets you back when you have to start all over again. Hopefully I've made better choices this time.

Ingrid, I so enjoy seeing your pictures. I don't know what your soil is like, but it looks like you live in a challenging environment and have done a beautiful job! Gives me hope as I look at my little bands in the flower bed that are so far sleeping. Thank you!

The roses look wonderful Ingrid. With that bit of fog your garden look so serene. I felt like I could hear the birds singing their morning songs. I think you should post more photos from this morning.

It's just Mesmerizing with the fog surrounding your garden. Your Wild Blue Yonder has such sumptuous colors. It fits in quite nicely with your other roses. I'm glad you posted these photos here and in the gallery. It gives us yet another dimension to your garden.

Thanks so much, you all. It WAS a special experience to photograph the roses in that kind of weather, and not something I'll be repeating any time soon since it's turned quite warm over the last day or two.
