Everyone else, forgive me for jumping out of line, but I'm laughing so hard at Pamela the Goddess that I can't do a thing until I stop. What a perfectly funny and true photo, most especially your hand tucked behind your head in what has to be "True Goddess" fashion. You are once again, as ever, completely and truly spot on. Thank you, my dear and treasured friend.

Carla, you're as sweet as can be for thinking of me today. I had a splendid day with Marji and our friends who came for champagne and awesome homemade pesto pizza. We had 5 poodles running through the yard, happy as a poodle can be times five.

Thank you all so much for the good wishes and the beautiful pictures. I apologize for my unexplained delay in responding to each of you. Our little white poodle, Gwynnie, was diagnosed on Sunday with a dread blood disease and our of our efforts are going in that direction. I know you'll understand that I'm worried sick and wanting every minute with her. I'll be back when I can. Please send loving thoughts for us.
