Comments (7)The Model number is 944-525800, which I believe is made by Husqvarna. I have tightened the spring tension the to point where the belt will just freewheel when the engagement lever is released. Should I install a stronger spring? There is a possibility that the belt continues to slip even when the lever is fully squeezed due to insufficent tension on the idler pulley. Is this a common problem with this model?...See MoreLTH 130 Hydrostatic Drive shot?
Comments (4)Parking brake may be the problem as noted above. Some hydros use a little goofy disc brake that adjusts with a bolt on the side of the hydro. Loosen it off if you suspect that's it....See MoreHydrostatic drive
Comments (8)Sorry. I got hung up(sick) and couldn't get back to the lawn mower. Rdaystrom, I believe you had the right idea. I work nights, but took time this morning to pull wheel off so I could see and work on it. Found the nut with the cartakey that holds the little disc brakes. While tapping the key out with a vice grip and crecent wrench, I bumped the nut and I felt something give. Everything felt looser. I rocked the mower back and forward. Seemed to move some. I adjusted the nut out about a half round and put key in and put wheel on. The mower runs fine now. I will advise later in I have any more problem. Baymee, couldn't see the oil reservoir but saw no sign of leakage. Thanks anyway....See Morercbe
