With a simple sketch, basic tools and the right plants, you’ll be on your way to growing your first flowers or edibles
Full StoryI have several vigorous climbers in my garden, just 2-gallon babies now, and it just dawned on me this morning that IÂve never thought about how I am going to go about deadheading the climbers once theyÂre mature.
My current stock of climbers is Mme. Alfred Carriere, Clotilde Soupert cl., Peggy Martin, Cramoisi Superieur cl., and Lavender Lassie. IÂm 5 feet tall so these will outgrow me in a few years.
Do you all get on top a ladder to deadhead, or do the blooms fall off on their own?
I have Excellenz von Schubert, and IÂve noticed the bloom stalk fall off nicely by a slight touch or wind. Can I expect the same with the above listed climbers?
Overwhelmed,
