Remote temperature sensing for my greenhouse

This isn't a profound tip, but I thought I'd share it. My greenhouse is about 100' from my house, and I got tired of checking the temperature at night. So I bought a little "weather station" with remote transmission. The unit comes with a dual sensor that I mounted in my greenhouse: it measures ambient temperature and also has a waterproof probe on a 10' long wire that can be put in the soil or a heating bed, or even outside. The receiver sits on my desk and I can tell at a glance what the two remote temperatures are at any time. It also records the min/max temperatures for both sensors. I've found this unit to be really useful for monitoring my temperatures without having to go out at 1am to make sure my heater is working properly. And the whole thing only cost $30. Sorry if this sounded like a commercial. I was just really pleased with how this worked and wanted to share...
