Zero Turns vs Lawn Tractors

I have been looking at the JD Z225 and the Cub Cadet zero turn 42". My local John Deere dealer is "steering me" towards an LA 130 JD. He said overall he is not impressed with the Z225 and that I can mow my 1 acre lawn with a 130JD, some of it with hilly areas in less time than a zero turn. I told him that my main concern was time I would like to cut in a quicker time frame and the zero turn would be the answer, I do understand you can not put attachments on it etc.(bag thats about it).

I did mention the wash out port that cleans the deck he said the 48" decks have it as I mentioned Cub Cadet. I was looking for peoples thoughts on JD Z225 zero turn and the Cub Cadet and or is a regular lawn tractor better?

I do like the wash out deck port on the cub cadet and the regular JD 130 has one could that could not be fitted into the Z 225 JD, well at least this year. I think zero turns are the wave of the future. Others have Thoughts?
