Well I searched the internet and found that the seeds do contain cyanide, but you'd have to consume a lot. Also some people beleive in eating the seeds to fight cancer and some websites say there are not confirmed cases of getting sick that way.

I'm conflicted. In my head, I want everything immaculate and love the feeling of just-cleaned anything. When I clean, I'm a little obsessive. In reality, I've chosen a life with a bunch of long-haired dogs and feel like I can't keep up. Actually, the family areas where we spend most of our time are almost easier to keep a handle on because we have to clean regularly - kitchen, family room, etc. It's the areas that don't get used as often - dining room, guest rooms, extra bathroom, etc. that build up. I have a to-do list a mile long in my mind but then get overwhelmed and feel like I'll never catch up. All or nothing thinking is awful, but when it comes to cleaning, I can't seem to get my act together. DH and I go in spurts, but I wish we could keep everything more consistent.

For heaven's sake, take it up with the people who ordered the survey, not the poor girl who was only trying to make a few dollars! Well, at least the poor girl can let her superior know just what problems she encountered due to the poor wording. When I have dealt with such things with poor girls I always did so in a super nice manner, let them know that I realized the confusion in the wording was not their fault, and asked that they convey the problem to a superior. Chances are that the poor girls are not paid enough 'to care' though, as seen in so many low wage jobs. If other folks responding to the survey did not have a problem with the ill worded questions, they were A. Not quick enough to see them as trick ill worded questions that could be taken more than one way B. Did not care or C. Did not have or take the time to think before responding. Thus....thousands of someone's dollars just wasted. It is particularly sad when it is the taxpayer's dollars that are wasted. Just my 2 cents..... Sue

Both of my dogs were supposedly healthy and fit, and yet they have cost us thousands of dollars with their health problems. I realized it right away when I picked each of them up. I'm not very smart in that I could have done better screening, but on the other hand, I'm brilliant because I have two of the most wonderful dogs in the world, so it worked out. ..lol. My youngest dog has some behavior problems on top of her health problems, but she absolutely requires love and affection (they both do, really), and I am so happy to have the opportunity to give that to them. When the older one required $1,400 in medical care this past fall, I was so grateful to be able to provide that for her, which improved the quality of her life. I always advise everyone I know who is on a tight budget NOT to get a dog, because you can't count on continued good health, even if you do get a healthy animal to start with, and it is not fair to deny the pet medical care or give it away because you can't afford that care. That's too hard on the dog.
