Anyone growing Albas in mild winter climates?

Hi all,

I'm curious if any of you are having success with Albas that receive little winter chill. I'm gardening on the coast just south of San Francisco and have good success with Belle Amour (I adore this rose/great myrrh fragrance) and Madame Plantier. Both are growing in a good amount of shade and bloom happily for me every year. I had no success with Chloris and Armide is not blooming and is about to be pulled out.

Any recommendations for other shade tolerant Albas? Thanks.

Diane
