I learned something about photography today

Lately our gardens have been almost overwhelmingly nice to look at, but I've always been so frustrated with my landscape shots. There's too much wind, the light is too bright, colors off, etc. Then we had a photographer stay here yesterday and today to take photos of the garden, and I noticed how late he took photos in the evening. So, I got my tripod out, and camera remote control, and took pictures this evening all around our property. I was amazed at what a difference it made in capturing colors! The shutter was open an incredible amount of time on some of the shots, but the effect I found really enjoyable.

Below is a link to some photos I took just a little while ago, when I would previously have thought it far too dark to get a shot.
