Comments (12)I cannot resist saying the phrase "building negative brand equity" is one of the most meaningless, corporate doubletalk, quasi-special-ed type phrases I've heard to date. It enforces my opinion that no real scholarship is done in 'business schools'. And whatever purported scholar authored said study is more likely to toss his own feces than to say something meaningful. How does one build negative equity? That doesn't even make sense. But I digress...... If you mean it makes you not want to buy the crap I agree. I will never buy honey oat cheerios. They can shove them into their greedy capitalist orifices. But saying things like "building negative equity", that's coined by people who want to sound like they know something....but who were actually strangled by their mother's placenta. As for the ads, I think my firewall / virus software disables them.........See Moreot that annoying babiesrus pop up!!!
Comments (27)Open your FF extension list/click on Options under AdBlock Plus/Filters/Add Filter Subscription/View All Subscriptions At this point you can cancel out of the preference box. A page of subscriptions will show the various lists. The two that were recommended to me (USA) was EasyElement + EasyList. Click on the filters you want, a box will pop up to add the filter, hit OK. ABP is updated to include these filters. I think you have to restart FF for this to take effect. Monica...See MoreWindows 7 now has popup ads How to
Comments (16)loralee- Problems like you were having typically result from installing programs that you find on the Internet...stuff like that coupon printer, which often typically come with all kinds of pop ups and malware.. Unless you are downloading known programs like Adobe, Firefox, Flashplayer, etc., from reliable sources, you're asking for trouble. And when you try to uninstall these programs they either don't uninstall easily or they uninstall and leave behind things that continue to mess up your computer. There are even programs that you pay for that seem to be legitimate antivirus programs that actually take control of your computer and can make a huge mess of things, and require expert help to get rid of. After you get your computer fixed, please do not download and install any new programs you happen to find online - free or otherwise -or anything that's supposed to fix your computer or find malware because these things often are malware themselves. And if there's something you find that seems legitimate and you really think you have to have it, check here first to make sure that it's not going to mess up your computer again....See MoreAnnoying changes to site
