Tilling up a sod = grass the tiller wants walk on top like run away. The point dig in as drag and help on runaways. Here link to point on drag bar. I use sweet on mind that works good to, but haveto buy different pieces so mount sweet on this first part of hiller furrow attachment. Not familiar with the Pro-Line, but I'd guess that the hiller/furrower (h/f in the rest of my post) attaches the same as it does to my Horse. Stand behind the tiller and lift up the hinged hood that covers the tines ... this is the part that smooths the just-tilled dirt. The h/f should slip on immediately above the bracket that the drag stake goes through. The H/F bracket straddles the drag stake. There is a hole through the h/f bracket that lines up with a hol in the drag stake bracket; this is where the clinch pin goes. Doesn't the tiller owner's manual show how to attach the h/f? I can scan the instructions (that cover the Horse, Pony, and Junior models of 1987) and e-mail it to you if you think that will help.

Hi Dale, I have an old furrower my grandfather gave me. It looks a lot like a current model Glaser Wheel hoe, which I also have. I imagine your grandparents laid out the garden with string between two stakes and used a wheel hoe to make straight furrows. With practice, you could get the trenches to slightly slope in order to water the garden with them. That, or they were deep enough and they used enough water that it didn't matter if they were of an uneven depth.
