Really Could Use Advice

Sorry - my last post did not seem to work, but if it did, I apologize for having two...

I want to build a greenhouse, and have no experience with one. I would like to use it year-round. I recently was diagnosed with a condition, where I am limited to mostly fresh fruits and veggies the rest of my life. I live in zone 5, which makes it difficult to have access to fresh fruits and veggies for a good part of the year.

The space I have available for a greenhouse is not ideal. It is great, because it can attach to my home, and use my houses heating and cooling, if need be. However, half of the space is shaded about 80% of the day, and the other half gets some morning sun, and several hours of afternoon sun. Will this work??

Suggestions? Tips? Warnings? Does anybody have a greenhouse attached to their home?? What am I getting myself into??
