I knew you'd come up with great ideas! I've seen a picture with one made from a shutter but had forgot about it. Like the idea about bicycle baskets and old tool boxes and chalk board paint. I think I've figured out that the red tile is your floor? And the gray stone is a SS? If so, I'm a little confused... you said those were things you've ordered. Are you using SS somewhere, or is that just what you would use if you could? It's beautiful; I love any SS but didn't use it for the same reason. I have heard here that leathered engineered quartz is difficult to maintain. Leathered granite, OTOH... For a long time I really thought we'd be going with quartz, but once I started looking at some of the granites, I knew that's what would work best for us. By that time I had also decided that I didn't like the polished look and wanted honed or leathered or whatever. We ended up with Impala Black leathered, which was about the same as the quote we got for Hanstone. Silestone was more, and Cambria probably would have been even more. It doesn't have any cream, just dark gray overall effect, probably in the same color family as a gray SS or JM, though I never saw that in person. If you take away the cream color of your 1st Cambria pic, that's about what you would have. It has been mistaken for SS in a photo. Overall it has been a breeze to keep looking nice (about two months). We did crack it this weekend by running the crock pot directly on it (fabricator didn't give us any hints about what to do and not to do, but they will fix it and bring us some trivets to put the crock pot on in the future). Otherwise, it seems pretty hardy, and definitely does not show stains from those things you listed. Not sure if that helps or if you are looking for suggestions of stones with some cream along with gray, but from what you said, it might fit.

I have a couple of old windows that I use as art in my livingroom and bedroom. The one in the living room has ivy, raffia, and wooden stars (to match my Americana theme). It is painted barn red. The one in the bedroom is white and has a rose and ivy swag on top of it (to match the border in the room). Maybe you could find a small quilt in colors that match your room and display it behind the glass. You could also create a shadow box with sentimental items that match your theme. You could also choose flowers in the colors you mentioned, press them and then decoupage them to the glass in a random pattern. Thanks all, to be honest that was not necessarily the name I would use, more just along the lines of a "style" or look. I have a very small scale nursery resale business that I have named Meadow View Gardens and may expand on that? or maybe just use that name. how do you like Fleur du Jardin? anyway, I'll be thinking on that too. I am definitely looking into unique tags, considered doing a fluer de lis, using a stamp on parchment paper with pink curling ribbon, or I have a variety (understatement) of ribbon to use. I found 2 more bookshelves tonight $10 each, that I can paint, so I'll have the 3 cubbies, and 3 6 ft bookcases. I also have a few other pieces to put in there to display stuff on. Question/poll: paint all the bookcases white? or maybe some of them pink? I will of course know what fits and looks right when I get it all down there and start setting it up. I'm planning to use the waverly fabric hemmed and with an opening for a pvc pipe with a corner fitting joining the two together, which will be hung from the ceiling using white chain hanging from the front and side of the space. The space next to me has a full length black fabric curtain wall, so that will help me too. And I have a whole bunch of white/cream tulle to use, have not put that together yet. might make like a canopy over the middle of the space, that notion is still in the developement stages :) as to how to hang it and what to make it look like. I also love the old door wall idea, will have to see about finding some to use, I'd only need like 3 or 4, I also considered using picket fence pieces behind the white cubbies, anyway, It will all come together and I'm really excited about it. thanks for all the comments and suggestions, (keep em coming, you never know when something you suggest will be just the ticket) I will do my best to keep my space unifed and interesting with great "finds" and will definitely be repurposing old furniture. Found a great woodend dresser tonight for $20 have my request in for another piece that will be great to paint and fix up.
