Troy-Bilt vs. Weedeater Hedge Trimmer

I have narrowed my choice to two models of gas powered hedge trimmers - the Troy-Bilt Model TB25GHTS for $182.87 versus the Weedeater Model GHT225 for $144.00. Both are available from Lowes. They seem to have identical specs:
22" dual edge blades, 25 cc engine, etc.
The Weedeater is supposed to weigh 9.6 lbs. but no weight is given for the Troy-Bilt at their website.
Per the Lowes listing, the Weedeater has a 3/8" cut capacity, while the Troy-bilt claims it cuts branches up to 3/4".
I don't mind paying the price difference for the more expensive Troy-bilt unit, but I'm not sure what accounts for it, and whether it is worth it. Is Troy-bilt's claim of 3/4" branch cutting ability credible? Does this account for the price premium, or are there other specs that makes Troy-Bilt superior to the Weedeater?
Any feedback would be appreciated. I will make my purchase today. Thanks!
