don't feel lonesome afriend of mine got gave to him a 21" selfpropelled,electric start he said that after w while of mowing it would die gas would come out of the carb. found part # ordered one from ebay put it on today start die start die,took it off clened up the old one mowed about 30feet started spitting spurtting then dead it will not hit a lick primer bulb is working insted of shooting a mist into the carb it spewes out of a brass pipe in the carb. could almost run back out spraye carb cleaner in it won't hit a lick.going to try one more carb. if it don't work to the dumpster it goes i even did a compression check 100psi that's good enough to run on.seems to me like troy bilt had a bunch of 2nds not up to standard quality passed them of to lowes and other places got a lowes hot line going to call tommorrow see what they say.not mine they may not talk to mei don't know when engine cos. quit rating engines in hp this is 7.00hp bought a new bolens it's ccs.

Unfortunately my sudden refusal to shutdown, seems to be quite regular. I click "Turn Off From the Start Menu" We get to the windows is now (closing)shutting down screen, the jingle plays...and we are not on nor off. Its Microsoft limbo hell. Mouse control has shut down. Can I delete .Net Framework 2.2 without hell to pay? My gut feeling is my problems are stemming from .net or the Merc board. The Merc board once shut down my Morrowind game and cancelled the tilde key assignment. Even Bethesda Softworks said there was nothing I could do. Ideazon support told me to upgrade my all keyboard drivers to hid, and that (unknowingly) knocked out the PS2 keyboard drivers used by the laser mouse assignments...it wasn't until I redownloaded the laser mouse drivers, did everything start to work. I can now cheat on my game to my hearts' content. (The tilde key brings up a game console where dirty little cheaters, like me, can enter codes to cheat.) This driver install and uninstall freeze with this crappy keyboard, that I'm stuck with to save money, is going to break me. It might have caused some problems. I had to reboot my computer from the default settings in bios. Although there was a warning on the Microsoft update site about one of .net updates rendering some computers unresponsive? Well! gee. I CANNOT DO A SYSTEM RESTORE! I tried a few different restore points...and honest to Pete!...I got this message saying the system hadn't changed so they weren't going to bother, there wasn't any point!? I mean, I never!!! What the????

Good morning. I have no experience with A/C so all help much appreciated. Last week we had a power cut in the middle of the night. Since then I noticed a few issues with the A/C. Firstly the upstairs unit wouldn't power on without me going in to the attic and turning the power switch up there, the thermostat wouldn't control it. Then it worked fine for a few days. Last night it started going through short cycles, coming on for twenty seconds and going off repeatedly. Tonight I came home from work and it's running, thermostat won't shut it off. It's blowing cold air constantly..... I've taken the thermostat off to change batteries and a/c kept running and I still can't control it with new batteries in the Tstat. I can hear thermostat turning on and Off but fan is constant. The downstairs unit is working no problem (knock on wood) and we didn't have any other electrical problems after power outage / surge.... Thanks a lot!

So I took the carburetor off, took it apart and sprayed every orifice down with carb/choke cleaner and then used an air compressor to spray out everything. Re-assembled it and viola! fuel flow. Now my problem is too much fuel flow. It fills up the carburetor and overflows into the air cleaner. If you shut off the fuel at the line, it will start and if you let it burn up all the excess gas and then turn the fuel line back on, it will keep running but very rough and lots of smoke and eventually floods out. So what is causing the extra fuel flow now. I checked the float and it moves freely.
