Light transmission - woven poly car shelter

Could you start seedlings in one? We were at a nursery whose owner used one of these shelters - about 10' x 20', aluminum frame, white opaque woven poly with two clear plastic windows at one end, big door-flap in front and back - to sell potted herbs in, that he didn't have room for in his greenhouses. He said the light transmission seemed fine - the plants did look healthy - and that it got really hot.

The guy said he could order one for us for under $300, which is about our price range. But is the light transmission good enough for growing vegetable seedlings? And given there's no screening, and the size and location of the door flaps, how would you vent it, without pests getting in? Has anybody tried one of these? I've searched here but haven't found this specific question. .
