David Austins as climbers

I have been drooling over the David Austin catalog all winter and have been wondering how well they would climb in my mid-atlantic heat and humidity. I have a Golden Celebration that has remained rather puny over the past two years, though it sent up one long super-cane last fall. It's pretty susceptible to BS, so I've decided to try spraying this year. Are there any DA's that climb well and don't succumb to BS by summer's end? I'm not discriminating by fragrance level or color. I just want beautiful blooms that repeat at least a little.
