Hi - on an iMac here - I just click & drag a photo to my desktop - either from the web or iPhoto or any other folder on my computer, then click the photo link in the comments box & browse the desktop, select the file & click 'open' - & done. (just remember that photo will be inserted where the cursor was last - you can remove a misplaced photo by clicking @ the right side of it & using the delete button on your keyboard) When I'm finished, I put the desktop image in the trash or return it to its folder. BTW, you cannot click/drag photos from the messages here @ houzz( & on some other sites as well) - I use screen capture if I want to save & reuse any of them. If you want the steps for that, just ask... HTH

I had to have my back stairs re-done and reconfigured and will have two "landings". My contractor asked me if I would like a regular finial of some sort on the one post and a birhouse, birdfeeder, or something else on top of the other. My house is old and my gardening style is "cottage". I'm not keen on a birdhouse or feeder as I have dogs that would create chaos for a nesting bird and I also don't want the mess that comes with residency! Any other ideas for something for a "topper" on this one post? My contractor is a husband/wife team and she's great with details and such...I would have never thought of this!

I believe that there may be several formats. The exchanges may be under the listing for 'more forums' and if you are seeing pictures of something to indicate a forum type, they might be off to the right and actually listed as exchanges below one picture.

So they are new construction picture windows with an integrated J-channel/nailing flange in this case. You need to have someone who is qualified to work with siding take a look as they will need to remove a few pieces between the windows as well as above the top window. I would check the weep holes on the upper window to make sure they are not blocked as well as remove the siding between the units to inspect the nailing flange on the lower window. It should be properly taped with the housewrap terminating on top of the flange. As long as they are there, make sure the check the flange and seal on the upper window as well as inspect that upper window interior sill for water damage indications.
