It's hard to get a mental picture of your intentions. Will these sliding doors need to operate? Double 2x6 with 1/2" plywood filler for headers, double 2x4's on each side. They can't safely serve as roof panes or sloped to any great degree. The panes are too thin, too large.

An A-shaped roof, to me, is an "A frame." Construction's the same, however you name it.

What needs to carry the weight? The floor because of the rocks/bricks? The roof? What's the roof made of? Surely not the sliding doors?

If your intent is to slope some doors inward till they meet, you'll need a good kneewall, or it will be such a narrow space on top as to be totally unusable, and no doubt an oven, to boot.

Sliding door panels cannot carry any load. At the least, they will not open and the seals will fails or the panes will crack. You'll need relatively major structural members to compensate for the 3' wide openings. Sort of a mini post & beam. Like I say, I think I'm just not visualizing what you're trying to describe.

There's prior threads here on recyling used doors. Try a search. I'm not sure what you're seeking. Architectural advice is one thing; I wouldn't place much weight on a small building made mostly of doors without it being very stout to the point of all the framing members being posts or beams.

Get a framing construction book from your library. That will help you the most. Many big-box store offer "design service." Maybe check that out, too.

Clavero, your photos were helpful, as this is the exact shape of a GH that I'd like to build. I am also considering the cinder block short wall, but more to gain head space than for insulation...(we dont have harsh winters here)

If you look at clavero's photos, imagine where he put sheets of (I'm guessing on the name) but the plastic/poly GH material? Anyway imagine me using glass doors there. So what I am intending is to use the door panels as the side walls of the GH, with the windows at the back end and front entrance (along with some type of door of course). The windows will be functional (so they can be opened as needed for ventilation)I also like the cutouts Clavero used at the entrance for metal vents. As far as the roof, I'm still deciding what will work best (I obviously need something light weight, but sturdy too)

so I just needed some ideas on how to frame the glass panels properly, so that they are sturdy and sound. I will not be slanting them inwards, they will be erect.

I will try to find something online to outlines how to do this I guess. thanks for your responses.

Glad the photos were helpful....and thanks for the compliments. The framework is redwood...and yes I committed the sin of actually painting it. I live smack in the middle of redwood country (Sonoma Co. CA) and have seen redwood used for all manner of outdoor uses...most stain or seal them and they look GREAT (initially) then by year three they look seriously ugly as the upkeep is constant. I used oil based primer (two coats) and oil based paint (two coats)...if I had to do it again, I'd consider marine epoxy instead for that extra measure.

I used the knee wall NOT because of harsh weather (no snow, no ice storms) but because we are only on a 50x150 lot and the gh location was the only place it could it go. The south and west walls would not receive sun in the lower wall sections anyway, so hence the wall. Also, hey, I liked the look...I'm NOT into ugly and function.

I'm not a carpenter and hence did not really work from drawings (or I'd be happy to send you copies)...even the odd size is a factor of the space available.

I would suggest you at least consider a slightly higher peak....more room for heat to rise and more room to hang plants above without banging your head. Don't be shy about mocking up the space...use a pair of ladders and some 2x4 to see how high works but doesn't look weird from a design point of view.
