Uncomposted horse manure buried in a trench

I have just found a source for free, uncomposted horse manure. It is mixed liberally with bedding straw and wood shavings. It smells bad, as manure usually does. I know that normally it would need to be composted, butI am wondering if there is another way to get that goodness into my garden right away, this spring?

Would it be okay to dig a trench(es) in my garden, say 18 to 24 inches deep, load in about a foot of the fresh manure, straw and shavings, and then shovel the original soil back over it, resulting in a nicely heaped raised bed that I could plant in right away? Would burying the manure that deeply cover the smell? Would it be safe to do it this way? If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate them! Thanks!
