Is it too late to winter sow?

I am wanting to get some things started from seed for this year but didn't really know about winter sowing. I have seed packets for some plants that winter sow well from what I have found - blanketflower, catmint, rock soapwort, painted daisies - and was wondering if it is too late to put them in some trays and put them outside in a mini-greenhouse.

We are still having some low temps at night. This week is forecast to be 40s in the day and 20s at night. Last frost shoulnd't be until mid May.

I will probably try regardless but I was hoping to get an idea if I should explect any success.

Thanks

Tony
