Can anyone explain how to post pictures to this forum?
Comments (7)I also use Photobucket...it's free & it's great! I use the option for posting a clickable thumbnail, as illustrated below. Thumbnails are very helpful for people who are on dial-up modems cuz they don't take so long to open. To view the pic, you simply click on the thumbnail & it enlarges...then move your cursor to the lower right corner & pause a moment; a small enlarger button appears. Click on that & the pic enlarges again, giving you the sharpest image. The fully enlarged pic below will measure 640 X 480. Here's how to do it: Select the desired image in your Photobucket album and click the small empty box below the pic's lower left corner. Move the slide bar (on the right) to the bottom and click on "Generate HTML and IMC code" A new display will open with 4-5 options. Use the FIRST option, which is labeled: "HTML clickable thumbnails for eBay, Live Journal, My Space, etc. - recommended" Place your cursor at the beginning, highlight the ENTIRE contents of that box...then right-click it and choose COPY. Now move into the GW thread you want to post to. Right-click inside the "Message" box and you will see the code attached. Click on "Preview Message" ... if you followed the directions, you will now see the actual picture instead of the coding. You can add any text either before or after attaching the photo. Comments (22)Just painted our former 3rd bedroom as we (my DD and I) transformed it into a Study/Office for DH. He was very surprised when he returned from his week in New York! We painted F&B Pigeon, kept the bookshelves and rug. Hope to update more later. Here is a very blue shot of Pigeon just inside the door. And here is the way it looks when you walk in the room... And the chair corner when the light is on or sun is shining... For the Purists out there.....I had my dealer mix up the Benjamin Moore formula for Pigeon in their own paint. So, no, it's not really F&B. Although, it is the color I wanted! I have the old recliner in there still, also working on some curtains, and keeping the antique persian rug........maybe some wood flooring eventually. Pigeon looks green/blue, sometimes blue/green, sometimes gray/green. It's a very nice soothing office color. Red...See MoreAnyone willing To Help me With A Photo?

Comments (11)Years ago there was a paint color that was all the rage on this board and others -- I suppose it is dated now that gray is all the trend because you never hear about it anymore, but it was called Tobacco Road and was produced by several smaller paint companies that shared the same color deck (California, Duron, Graham were 3 I know of). I'm sure you can still get it mixed by BM or SW because they should have the formula in their system. Anyhow, if you google, you might find that it is exactly what you want. There are lots of images of it -- as I said, it was quite the trendy color for a while. (And personally, as you can probably tell from my living room, I never got on the gray bandwagon -- so I'll proudly fly my mid-2000s-paint-colors-flag! There is enough gray outside all winter to give me a very strong dislike of any kind of cool/gray paint color in my house, though I think it can look good in other people's homes.) anyhow, here's a sample of tobacco road, though on my monitor it looks a little browner here than it does in real life. from here: Blog where I got that photo...See Morebihai
