I have no pics of paint named after birds either. But I do agree that the names are goofy. I mixed a color that is a greyish brown with a ting of green and named it Dirty Diaper. Moonshadow thought Doodie Drawers was better.

Yes, I saw that some time ago! Hilarious. Dauphin, the paint color, is short for Dauphin poop--the color of the baby prince's poo poo. So, if you create the Benjamin Moore version of it, voilà , Dauphin Moore!

Absolutely not! It does have green in it. That is why I like it. It brings out the green in Dirty Diaper.

I don't remember you having Hay Fever Snot. I thought you went with Summer Cold Phlegm? I swear my memory is going.

I just spent 20 minutes digging around for pics of Pigeon because I feel so guilty for hijacking this thread (even though I did have a conspirator or two).

I think the only solution to this pressing problem is that each of us should all buy a quart litre of Pigeon and see what we can do with it...kinda like Iron Chef Decorator.

I have Oak Tassle Snot on the enclosed patio right now. It's slightly brighter than Hay Fever Snot and works better in low light situations, unless it's fluorescent.

I think we will be requiring a pic of that patio, kitchendective.

ROTFLMAO!! If I used the Hay Fever Snot for my trim color, would Chewing Tobacco Spit be too dark for the wall color? Has anyone used this combination?

As an aside, quite by accident I discovered that Mule Muffin Mocha is an excellent accent color for both Snots, either Oak Tassle or Hay Fever. They really compliment the subtle, warm smoky undertones of Mule Muffin.

Is F&B paint made in the US or UK? I love the names.

Just painted our former 3rd bedroom as we (my DD and I) transformed it into a Study/Office for DH. He was very surprised when he returned from his week in New York!

We painted F&B Pigeon, kept the bookshelves and rug. Hope to update more later. Here is a very blue shot of Pigeon just inside the door.

For the Purists out there.....I had my dealer mix up the Benjamin Moore formula for Pigeon in their own paint. So, no, it's not really F&B. Although, it is the color I wanted! I have the old recliner in there still, also working on some curtains, and keeping the antique persian rug........maybe some wood flooring eventually. Pigeon looks green/blue, sometimes blue/green, sometimes gray/green. It's a very nice soothing office color.

OH lordy, that's such a beautiful color that if I didn't have EK Pumice up already, I'd probably choose that for our bedroom. WOW. Those go into the clippings file.

Well, since DS2 has his own place now, I think his old room is about to become Pigeon. It's beautiful.

I did sample Pigeon a few years ago. DS2 thought it would "get old." I liked how mutable it was--never boring. His room is an odd one in that it only has one window, a tall, somewhat narrow southern facing one, yet the room is very light. He likes greens; doesn't care for blues. I was worried about the blue moments. I had already seen the Bing/Google images, as well as the Cottage Living photo, but everything that I had seen was a teaser--no photos of multiple walls or entire rooms. Red's pictures really cinched it for me. DS isn't there often enough to worry about the blue, and the other green-grays are delicious. I'm going for it. (I'll have to think about the Chewing Tobacco Spit trim, though.)
