One of us has to go......no photos, just opinions wanted
Comments (8)I have grown all three of them for over ten years and they are all great plants. All of them have multiplied rapidly for me and are quite comparable in that respect. If I had to rate them in order of my preference,I would put Vanilla Fluff first, Peach Magnolia second and Savanah Debutante third. PM and SD are similiar in colour but the shape of the flowers are quite different. SD always opens a perfect flower every time. PM occasionaly has a flower that is not quite perfect, but does have a better bud count. I agree with the above comments in that VF is a light or pastel yellow and a wonderful flower. Hope this is helpful....See MoreHas any one used oxygen cleaner?
Comments (3)Olychick, my thoughts exactly! Well I called the phone number off the back and a guy answered hello and then hung up... I tried to call back and it just rang and rang..... what up with that? I then went on line and found a whole long line of people swearing by the stuff. So I tried it....... And... it didn't work. I have pink mold in my shower floor area and it didn't touch it. So I just used scrubbing bubbles and work really fast. Spray, scrub brush, flush with water. I looks beautiful again. But sadly the stuff did nothing for me in the shower, even let it sit for 1 hour. Thankfully it didn't hurt my shower either. I did run a load of whites with it and I think that came out pretty good. Win some - loose some. Thanks terriks..... yep laundry helper for sure....See MoreHas any one finished their own solid surface kitchen
Comments (5)Hi, Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions the Corian fabrication site is really great. We are definately going to give this a try. We had heart failure when we got the labor bill for fabricating the countertops $50 for every corner and some outrageous price per foot for the ogee edging. We were too naive. We are just going to cut rectangle door fronts from the remaining material and soften the edges. From the Corian site it looks like the subsurface may need to be cement board which is available but will really be heavy for a door. It doesn't get any better than living on St John. We have been in the house for a year the kitchen is very useable but needs lots of finishing. The backsplash the mantel the dumb waiter and some built ins are holding eveything up. Electricans are $100 plus per hour and we have lot's of electric to finish. Hopefully I can learn to post pictures by the time it is done I am technically challenged....See MoreWhole house filter to remove chlorine odor
Comments (3)Chlorine creates tastes and odors when there is only a small amount present and it is "dying off" since it only active for a short period of time. Water with good dose of Cl2 doesn't have taste/odor issues. Removing the Cl2 from the water will take away the ability of the water to withstand contamination from germs. If you are only having issues with strong odors it could be caused by chlorine dioxide. ClO2 is used by a lot of surface water systems as it is a very strong oxidizer and disinfectant. It does react with fumes from cleaning products, paint, wallpaper, carpet, vinyl shower curtains, hairspray, glues, etc,. We get a lot of calls about it especially when folks are remodeling bathrooms and kitchens....See Morepennymca
