Are you also responsible for collecting, verifying the authenticity of and submitting certificates of insurance? "all appliances must be on site, set in place," If the refer and the counter, do not intersect, why? If the appliance opening is square and the cabinet face frames are aligned and the appliance is on-site, this should not be necessary. It's the cabinet installers responsibility to install the cabinets insuring that they are plumb, square and aligned, including the appliance openings. Now, if the wall is wavy, they need to make the adjustment in their template to compensate, insure the range opening is square and the front overhang is equal the length of the cabinet run. A square cut, is a square cut.

It's fine to do so provided the space (measurements) works. Since your refinishing your cabinets, I assume in place, the floor underneath won't need a redo? If you're going with a panel, then you need to buy one panel ready or capable of accepting a panel (typically panels are 3/4" thick). The electrical outlet is preferred placed in the adjacent cabinet,especially if your new DW is European for fit reasons. Do you know your toe kick height? Probably want to ensure it will work with the new DW, although perhaps your cabinet maker can cut it to size or figure out alternative. You don't want the toe kick too high for the paneled door to properly open and catch.

If it is ordered correctly, there is almost zero waste. You don’t order by the square foot like shingles. The lengths come precut to the exact length needed, and all that needs to happen are some site trimming for angles for hips. We had 32 foot lengths for some of ours. We used the exact number of pieces calculated to be needed, and only had the one length left over that we had ordered in case of damage. It’s the trim pieces that you need to allow a goodly percent for waste. Those things are where all of the dollars are in metal roofing.
