Trouble with perennials from seed

I've been reading GW for a good while now, but am just getting started with perennials. I decided to try and get a jump start on the season by starting a few indoors. I've had pretty good success, but there are a few that have not germinated at all.

I have a good number of seeds planted in individual cells and used a commercial soil-based mix as the starting medium. I've been watchful to keep the soil moist, but not soaked. It has been about 2 1/2 weeks since I planted.

Can anyone take a stab at diagnosing my problem from the list of those that did not germinate?

No germination list:

iris versicolor (Northern Blue Flag)

clematis viginiana (Virgin's Bower)

mertensia virginica (Virginia Bluebells)

caltha palustris (Marsh Marigold)

polemonium reptans (Jacob's Ladder)

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
