Visit to ARS Center & Garden and Chamblee's Rose Nursery

This past week Angie and I visited the American Rose Society Gardens in Shreveport and Chamblee's in Tyler, Tx while visiting her Dad. While I probably enjoyed the visit to Chamblee's a bit more than the ARS (we were ahead of most blooms) I think it is a visit everyone who finds themselves in the area should make. On reflection, I found myself wondering if growing some Noisette Roses would work in my climate. I have always been attracted to them but I have also been afraid that we were a bit too cold for them to grow successfully. Do any of you have thoughts about their winter hardiness? This past winter's warmness has been the exception.
