Cercis with reddish-purple seed pods

Hello everyone...I live in Cambridge in the UK. This autumn I have been admiring the seedpods on several small upright Cercis, but I'm struggling to identify them. They are all quite young so my guess would be a recently introduced variety. From quite extensive searching on the web (most images show the flowers but not the pods!)I am inclined to think it might be a form or hybrid of C. occidentalis. I don't have a photograph (yet) but I found the exact same Cercis on flickr--it is very characteristic from the rounded leaves and vivid red-purple seed pods. The form I am most familiar with is C. siliquastrum and this is quite different. Any input would be most welcome. Here's the link:
