I need your opinion about these roses

Hello everyone I am planning to add more roses to my new garden and I fall I love with bourbons and teas they are so beautiful here's the list of roses I want to order;please comments on how they are.i live in zone 7 in me.thank you!

Rosette delizzy --- A beauty in SoCal, where it has never rusted or mildewed, in umpty years. Color fades in hot weather, best in cool conditions.

Mme.joseph schwartz -- Lovely rose. Mildews badly here, and also in other places where I have observed it.
But I finally found a clone of Duchesse de Brabant that is clean, so maybe MJS can be clean, too.

Gilbert Nabonnand -- Absolutely wonderful here. The blooms are almost opalescent -- pinker in cool weather. Completely clean here (which means no rust or mildew), this is a rather arching, open plant with great repeat bloom in my coastal conditions.

Grandmother's hat -- A great Southern California rose, useful as a bush, tall specimen plant, or espaliered as a climber. Great repeat. Fragrant, and terrific in a vase. BUT if you have blackspot problems, beware. She can be susceptible.

Irene watts -- The rose in commerce under this name is the Floribunda, 'Pink Gruss an Aachen' (a sport of 'Gruss an Aachen.') This is not to say she's not a great rose, but she is most surely not a China.

Mme Joseph Schwartz - very large plant, very fragrant, love it, no particular problems here in South zone 9.

Rosette Delizzy - nice, doesn't get too large, but susceptible to thrips in the blooms. I like it.

Franzeska Krueger - good rose, I like it a lot. Doesn't get too large. Nice fragrance.

I have had my Shiela' Perfume for four years. I really like the blooms initially as they have nice color and form and also have a very strong but nice fragrance. The only problem is they only stay pretty for a couple of days. If you want to cut them for a vase, do it early so they stay a pretty color. The Shiela's Perfume bush is vigorous growing and winter hardy enough and seems to stay relatively disease free. Overall, a pretty good rose I would say. Paradise is new to me this year and has been outstanding from the onset. Vigorous and disease free growing and lots of beautiful flowers. Sheer Magic, Southern Belle, April in Paris are also new this year and so far have been very good roses that I would recommend to anyone. All were started bareroot in pots and broke dormancy well before transplanting to the garden bed where they continue to establish themselves. Southern Belle and April in Paris were part of the J&P Hybrid Tea Test Rose Panel this year. That is why I buy them every year. I have already ordered the Lovestruck, Enchanted Evening floribundas, and also the grandiflora Dream Come True from J&P for next Spring. I think that the pictures of the new J&P offerings for Spring 2008 are some of the best I have seen from them in years. I only hope I haven't been duped and end up with a bunch of duds! The Mardi Gras floribunda and the Dream Come True grandiflora look especially inviting for their excellent color combinations. John

So I bought 7 rugs...now I need your opinions please.

We swapped the rugs, Gold went to the living room and my DH is happy. He likes it better there and so do I. The color looks less orangey. And the size is good for that room. The silver rug looks 'OK' in the DR but is really a bit too blue for the DR and the fabric I've had for windows. It will be perfect upstairs in my snore room however when I get to that project so both are keepers and will work fine as place holders. Busybee3 - I would keep the table at the round 54" as I only do larger 10+ sit downs a few times a year. I guess I really think of the DR divided into two sections a 6 X 16 hallway and a 10 X 16; as that side is where the table lives, and the light fixture is placed accordingly. I do not want to center the table to the room as that would be trickly for walking to the kitchen. What I consider the hall is really part of the room and will have the buffet placed there. The other walls will have a china cab and server. For now I will have the silver rug placed where the large gold rug is in the first picture, but I will try with out a runner for awhile. Not ideal but will get us by to move in - While I keep my eyes peeled for the perfect rug.

Update! I did dispute the charge with my credit card, and also messaged the company's CS about my reluctance to sign such a broad waiver of my rights when they were the ones that created this situation. They were quite adamant, over the course of 3 phone conversations (the CS rep kept checking with her supervisor), that unless I signed the release/waiver I would get no refund. I told them that I would not sign the waiver and would pursue the other options (file complaints with the attorney general & with the BBB, and continue to dispute the charge). I contacted my bank's credit dispute desk again to ask them about this demand for a waiver of my rights, and they advised me to not engage with the company any further. A few days later, I also posted an update to my original online review, detailing my interactions with the company including the terms of the release/waiver that they wanted me to sign in order to be refunded for my missing carpet and the overcharge for installation. Amazingly, the next morning I received both a phone message and an email telling me that "after much deliberation" the company has decided to grant me my refund without requiring me to sign the waiver. I haven't responded yet. I suspect that they will ask me to remove my negative review. I will call the bank again to see if they advise accepting this, or continue to allow VISA to deal with it. PS if anyone wants to know the name of this multi-state flooring chain, send me a PM. I would warn anyone against dealing with them. Most transactions go off smoothly, I expect, but I do still wonder if overestimating and overcharging is SOP for them and folks just don't realize that it has happened.

The 'half moon' (as you describe it) window is completely inappropriate for your home. Yes it dates it right to the 1990's - and not in a good way. I would do a rectangular transom window, properly installed, if you are looking for more light. Also, as promised by others above, remove the shutters on the double windows. Lady of Shalott is an Austin shrub--golden apricot bloom, very disease-resistant, something like 4x3 (or maybe a bit larger). Mine is only one season old, but I was tremendously excited about it last year and am looking forward to a more mature version this year.

Thank you everyone for your input im so excited to plant more roses I just started adding OGR last year got rid of most of my hybrid teas .i love David Austin roses too even they get some blackspot here so I want more OGR .

Is Gilbert Nabonnand also called G Nabonnand? I have 2 or 3, and they are beautiful.

Louise Odier is one of the most beautiful roses I ever had, but it really only bloomed once -- just like Gertrude Jeckyl.

I have 12 Souvenir de la Malmaison, but Kronprincessin does not like it here. It should, but I have tried about 3 now, and they don't look good.

Rosette Delizy is pretty, but seems a little frail. I need to fertilize it, and see what is wrong.

Gruss aun aachen was very pretty. I had about 3, but they needed spray to survive in my garden, and I don't spray, so they are gone.

Francisca Krueger seemed to have a problem, but I do not remember what it was.

I am just critical, and only have one success in your list. I live outside of Tulsa zone 7A. Maybe your zone 7 is different and you may not have the problems I have.

Franziska Krueger got veggie centers for me, consistently. Maybe you mean Lady Hillingdon. I have a new Rosette Delizy. My previous one was very prone to botrytis. Hopefully, this one won't be.
