Are your room designs suffering from a few old habits? It may be time to change your ways
Full StoryHi everyone,
I am new to David Austins (and to this forum) and was hoping to get some feedback about the three that I am considering. They are Carding Mill, Pat Austin, or Alnwick (I will only buy one). I have already decided to try Abraham Darby based on the great things people on this forum have to say about it.
I live in zone 7b/8a (right on the border). We have very hot and humid summers (a few months in the lower 90s). I am very interested in how these roses rebloom. I would also like to avoid BS magnets. I do spray, but not religiously, so a little BS would be acceptable.
Finally, do you really need to plant these in 3's like the catalog says? I would like a full, dense shurb so I am willing to do this. But if it is not necessary then maybe I can get more than 1 :)! Thanks.
