About me: I live in the chemical city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana with my wife and our cats, Buddy and JoJo and dogs, Rascal and Gigi. We have a large yard with mature oak trees, variegated pittisporums, philodendrons, camellias and azaleas. I have a cut flower garden in the backyard with mostly hybrid teas and florabundas. In the front yard I have planted Chinas, hybrid musks and noisettes as shrubs. Since my wife hates the neighbor’s ligustrums, we planted camellias and hybrid musks along the side fence in the back. Since we live in Louisiana, we planted lots of Louisiana irises, African irises and Day Lilies. The back fence is decorated with various climber roses and a couple of white Lady Banks roses. When I am not pursuing my other hobbies, computers and guitars, I am usually talking about gardening with the guys at work.
