Frog in the kitchen!

I woke up early on Thursday and was toddling around in my bathrobe and slippers when I notice this little thing, covered in cat fur, limping across the kitchen floor! Sure enough, it was one of my (25+) little frogs! I picked it up, pulled off the cat fur and brought it back to the pond. He seemed happy enough (and rather grateful!)

So my question is: how long can a frog stay out of water? This little guy was about 1 1/2" and must have been in the house (hiding under the stove?) for at least 10 hours. I'm assuming my cat brought him in sometime before 8 pm when I closed the screen door.

Needless to say, I don't leave the screen door open any more. But I have taken upwards of 4 frogs out of my cat's mouth in a single day! They don't seem injured. She's not much of a killer.... she just wants to play with the little wet "mousies". The pond is her new favorite hang out and I think the frogs are (finally) getting wise and staying away from her.
