Cylera (have you ever heard of them?).... similar to camillias?

I have been trying to get suggestions to plant a tree/shrub/hedge row along the side of our riding arena to help block the view from our neighbors (as well as help with shade and dust!).

Someone (from a horse bulletin board) has recommended a plant called Cylera. The only reference that I have found by googling the name (cylera plant) is an article that was written in the newspaper that mentions cyleras. It says that they have decided to plant cylera alongside the road to help block a large white wall instead of 100 camillias bushes (experts have told them that disease would harm the camillias because they would be planted so close together)... the cyleras are supposed to be drought tolerant and heartier than the camillias.

This is the ONLY thing that I can find about "Cylera". Could it be called something else??
