To quote the bard...."a rose by any other name is still as sweet..." I could give you lots of "looks like" opinions....but nothing definite. The thing about hosta is the more they hybridize and create, the more there are that look pretty much the same. I suspect that with maybe 100 or fewer plants you could have the hosta world confused. My advice is enjoy them for what they are....as far as I can see there are only possibly 30 hosta that are identifiable at 20 paces. Linda C

Thanks for those names! If the top one is Francee, and I can't find it locally, what other hostas could I get that would be very similar so I could even out my landscaping?

Is it "blue" at all in the spring? Is it white at all on the leaf backs? Seems to be an old-timey green, but wavier than, say, Sparkling Burgundy, and the flowers don't quite match Raspberry Sorbet (but that's worth comparing).
