Best planting spot for a new rose - a Climber- America

I just bought - on impulse - because it was so beautiful, this climber, "America", from a big box store.

I'm in Florida...my yard has some bright sunny spots and some that are partial-shade.

How big will this climber grow? Also, if I plant it along the fence which would be shady on the bottom until the rose grew past the fence - would the rose die or thrive?

Unfortunately, the sunniest spots in the yard are not ideal if the rose bush were to grew huge.

It's so pretty -- I want to give it the best chance for success that I can so I still have not put it into the ground yet until I learn more.

Thanks!
