compare to Old Roses, such as Polyantha, Tea, or Noisettes.

I'm looking for

-Good disease resistance is of great important to me because I only use organic sprays such as Cornell and I live in an area with prime conditons for p.m..

-graceful bloom style, no rigid petals.

-abundant foliage.

-branching growth habit, like a Polyantha or Noisette or Tea.

-fragrance.

It is because it is hard to find an Old Rose that meet all these criteria that I'm interested in learning more about the Pioneer Roses sold by the Antique Rose Emporium.

The photo of

'Jane Bullock' has clear yellow blossoms, that show a pretty display of orange pollen, and it is only 3-4 feet tall.

'Sweet Frances; another beauty that reminds me of Perle d'Or' with apricot flowers. ARE says it is "Very disease resistant". I am a bit wary of those words, because although 'Ducher' is so disease resistant in Texas it won the Earthkind designation, 'Ducher' defoliated from p.m. in my garden near San Francisco, California.

'Mier Y. Teran' ARE says "clean foliage" and the photo shows a gorgeous rich pink rose with a graceful bloom style similar to that of an old rose.

"Independence Musk" I love white roses, how does this compare to Darlows Enigma'?

How would any of these do in the Land of Powdery Mildew?

Thank you, always,

Luxrosa
