A dwindling population of 123,000+ has caused concern. The city cannot grow because it is on a narrow slice of land that will not allow more people. We passed through the city on our way to and from Seville. It appears to be a nice place with much history. I would like to spend several days there.

CunardâÂÂs Queen Victoria was in port with us, along with a third cruise ship. Screening to get onto the pier was the most intense we have ever encountered outside the USA.

Crystal Serenity is wet dock looks like a marionette; plus bridge to nowhere. The bridge in the background right and left center is La Pepa Bridge. Our guide indicated that it had been under construction for a long time. It was to have opened this autumn, but I cannot locate anything that indicated it had been completed.

We are on our way to Casablanca, Morocco.

Thanks Jim for taking us with you, you had quite a long lay-over, thought you were tired of sharing.
Spain is a rather complex country, built on so many various cultures over the centuries.

I have been through a rough patch. I hope that I am nearing the end of that.

Talking about construction, Years ago when we went to Hawaii, they called the State Bird the "crane" because that's all we saw in the sky. The bridge pics reminds me of the praying mantis.
I know, weird association.

Jim, I too have been looking forward to your next batch of pictures.Since I can't travel anymore, you are my window to the travel world.

Next cruise begins in one month. We sail from Tampa on January 4. 21 days into the Caribbean, then home to cold and windy and icy and yuck.

October, 2015 will be Los Angeles to Hawaii to Samoa to French Polynesia and back to LA. Been to all those places except Samoa. 28 days.
