I really have no idea what this is about, other than the year 1911 is involved. I thought that it looked interesting and I am sharing with you.

I thought that this was creative. The streets are too narrow even for the usual central garbage collection area. They have created an underground system. I donâÂÂt really know the specifics, but the garbage travels through ducts to a central collection point. Is that neat or what?

The garbage thing is on Plaza Doña Elvira. This is one of several benches on the plaza. No vehicles in the area, not even a scooter. Real serene.

Stand in front of the bench and look up and this is the view. There are several restaurants on the plaza as are hotels. I believe that this is one of the hotels. There was just too much to take in on a walking tour.

This is a cute shop; yeah it is touristy, but still it is neat. Notice the mail box conveniently located for sending postcards. Not very many people send postcards anymore. I sometimes send them to myself so that I can remember stuff. But I almost always send them to friends early in a trip so that they get them before I return.

Another narrow street with some of our Cruise Critic friends. What I want you to notice (if you can) is a sign way down the street on the right side.

This is that sign. I can translate this. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, air conditioned, recently remodeled. ⬠230,000 is the equivalent of US $310,000! Yikes! And no parking.

I like it when they show what is involved. 4 tapas and a drink is a decent meal. US $14.75.

This one is about US $18.25 per person, 2 person minimum. It does not include a drink in the price.

The $5.00 per day for travel in Europ, are over I think LOL. Well that was a very long time ago.
