I'll be watching and waving. A friend of mine was on a ship which was going through the Panama Canal. I found a cam and had her email me ( she had her laptop) as they were going through. I watched it and what fun to know she was on the ship. Now you stay in front of the camera for awhile Di so we'll be sure to see you.

Well, I plan to wave, but knowing me, I will remember at oh, 5 pm, or someone will call or stop in the office.

My staff meeting should be finished well before noon. I've set the appt. reminder to beep me at 11:58, so hopefully I'll be in my cubby, watching you and waving back. My boss often pops by around then, to see how things are going (all is well if he can see me over the stacks of packets) and he knows better than to question any cubby-based gymnastics.

there. I called her and talked and they waved at me.

I love this, di! I really felt as though I was there with you and what a lovely day. I waved back, yelled "hi" and raised my cuppa to you:) I liked it when you were on the wall best I think.

Thanks Jazz, for the pic. I had plans to be on line at the right time, but Gussie and Taschi had a different idea: they insisted that it was imperative for them to go outside, and, as it wasn't raining at the moment, I couldn't refuse if I know what's good for me.

So Di,how did it feel with the eyes of the world looking at you? Did you see us? LOL

Well, I did see them :) My boss walked by (just as I was waving back), so of course he had to see what was going on. His only comment was to wish he were at the beach, too.

Oh my. Warms my heart to see such participation, thank you all. I also emailed my friends and family with this link. I think it's so sweet that so many waved no matter where they were.

Jimmy and I did arrive about ten minutes early. Jan called us on our cell right then and I'm praying that somehow only Jan saw what Jimmy did not the ENTIRE WORLD! Let's just say, the sun wasn't the only orb to shine brightly. The "moon" shone for a long second there. Of course I was horrified at Jimmy's lack of modesty but Jan was laughing so hard, I too busted out laughing. More laughter ensued as we were on the phone with Jan while we were holding a kiss for ten seconds. She was coaching us telling us when the ten second delay would change. As if Jimmy needed any encouragement,lol. I was in fear of what he could do next. Maybe the fact that The Kite Loft needs to clean the saltwater off their camera lense is a good thing?

One jogger who ran by us thought we were waving at her so she waved back, smiled and gave us an enthusiastic "thank-you".
It was so fun "seeing" you all wave back at us in our minds. Thank you all so much. We'll have to meet there again sometime.

I learned a good lesson, never, ever, dare Jimmy to do anything.
Laughter is the best medicine and it's good for the soul.
Hearing you laugh was wonderful.

I can't believe we all had a chance to see a DH of a GPer moon us,and missed it . Drats.

Needless to say, it's been very difficult for Jimmy and I to smile much less laugh. Our laughter during our wave session was foreign but good for us. "We'll take it", as the saying goes. Although it's been hard to do, we've both tried to make each other smile or laugh at least once a day. All these years I've never thanked Jimmy for making me laugh. I do now. Both of us being raised in such large familes, laughing or teasing ourselves and each other is part of who we both are. If Jimmy sees the opportunity to get a giggle out of a girl, by gosh,he usually doesn't miss it. I guess what I'm trying to say Jan, is if Jimmy loves you, he's gonna tease you. Be on your toes. I'm sure he's not done with you.

I know, he is so wonderfully funny and one of the things I
love about him is that he is real.
What you see is what you get with Jimmy and with you.
Believe me, it's very refreshing.
