Underwater without pump biofilters?

I was wondering if there is a stand alone in water bio filter that I could get?

I have seen the TerraPond out of the pond biofilter but since this is an above ground stocktank, I do not see how I could get it to work.

My pump and bio filter combo has the abitily to connect some tubing to be run to a spitter or waterfall. I would like to use this feature and send the water thru another biofilter.

It is obvious by my current problems posted about on another thread that I need more filtration. If I had a bunch of healthy growing water hycinths that might really help but mine do not grow and are sickly (also posted about on another thread).

If anyone has any ideas about what I could do bio filter wise I would like to hear it because I need to do something.

My water is not green, it is clear but I can not feed my fish without everything going wrong.
