Orchid help/advice needed

I have bought a farm and with it a small hobby greenhouse with assorted plants. There are approximately 40 orchids among the collection. Cymbidiums, cattleyas, dendrobiums, and such. I have gotten one bloom spike on the cattleyas so far. Only owned them for a month but been taking care of them since the previous owner had a stroke in June. I know that he spent time and money acquiring and taking care of them. I know nothing about orchids except not to overwater, let the medium decompose without replacing it first, and fertilizing once a week. I water them in the morning so the foilage will dry before dark. They are growing new sheaths and roots so I must be doing something right! What I really need to know is are they time intensive and where do you market or trade them if I decide they are not my type of plants. Please give any advice.....
