Light Can Stop Blooming?......... WHAT!

Hello i grow my catts on my front porch and its lit up when it gets dark. its fall now and i have a few fall & winter blooming hybrids. Someone told me that a single light left on a night can ruin a bloom cycle. I mean there are street lights on and i cant stop that you know. The lights are not shining directly on them so i dont think it cold do much damage but it just might, there are also outside lights that light them up just a little bit. so If it helps im growing these plants:

Lc. Haw yuan "angel",

Blc. Chia Lin "New City",

Blc. Campobello "Mendenhall" HCC/AOS,

A Brassavola Nodosa (C. nodosa 'Panama Soire' AM/AOS x B. nodosa 'Mas Mejor' AM/AOS, CCM/AOS),

And,Lc.Secret Love 'Evelyn' AM/AOS (Lc. Mini Purple x C. Candy Tuft)

Im not sure if these plants are light sensitive i mean the places i got them form never said anything at all( Adams Fairacre farms, Normans Orchids,And Aloha orchid) Personally i think orchid vendors should say if plants are light sensitive. But thats just me ;)
