Today has been a busy, busy day.

I hit the shower at 7:00 am and I'm just now sitting down.

Cooked breakfast and fed Sassi before heading out the door

for an 8:30 appt. for lab work at the cardiologist.

Came home and picked up Neil and Sassi, dropped Sassi off

at the groomers then Neil and I went to Bo Jangles for

breakfast. After breakfast we stopped by my son's to visit

for a minute and met the new female in my grandson's life at the moment.

I started up the washer and dryer as soon as I came in the

door, stripped all the beds and then started dusting everything.

Every window in this house has those plantation shutters.

Does this tell you how much dust was flying through the air

in this place. Every floor is hardwood so the dust bunnies have partners every where you look.

I felt like I had on roller skates as I ran here and there,

folding towels, loading and unloading the washer and

drying, making lunch, picking up Sassi, helping Katrina

with her shower. I have to put plastic bags over the

bandages on her legs then saran wrap and tape them so they

don't get wet. I hate it almost as much as she does.

I finally finished with dinner and it's a good thing cause I'm totally out of steam.

Neil will be a happy camper tonight when he gets to bed. I

put the new electric blanket on just in time for the first

cold night here. It's supposed to dip into the 40s.

I sincerely hope I get to sleep late in the morning. It

would be nice for a change.
