Getting new bedroom furniture

Pidge

I am finally ditching the 50-year-old chest of drawers of my husband's and the 15-year-old build-it-yourself fiberboard stuff I've been using after I outgrew my dresser. The new stuff comes on Friday.

I bought most of this furniture at a place called "The Dump," which is big warehouse operation with several locations and about a million objects in each. I probably shouldn't even be admitting to buying stuff at a place called "The Dump," but I also don't expect this stuff to last 50 years, either. It will be such a treat to have furniture that is not only new but modern! The furniture is certainly inexpensive but not "cheap," if you know what I mean. Now I hope that I'm right and that it looks as good when it arrives as it did in the store.

I love new things for the house, even a lamp or a vase or new sheets. Makes the whole house come alive for me. How about you?
