Another update on Robyn and my surgery !!!

Just a little note to bring my friends up to date .

Robyn is really getting stronger everyday----It is so good to hear her laugh again It has been a rough 5 months and many times I thought we were going to lose my precious daughter.

slowly but surely she is becoming stronger emotionally---

She is now able to stand up for herslf--I don't think anyone will ever abuse her again.

Rick is still doing some sneaky things but she is handling it much better.

Her daughter is still being difficult---everyone says she will come around as she matures and realizes the truth about what happened.

My DH has been a saint with Robyn---She says he saved her life with his kindness and supportive advice.

Robyn has to go to court again in March----- her DH is complaining about the support money the judge ordered him to pay.

Thanks for all your prayers !!!We still need them.

About my stress fracture-----I'm still in the wheelchair I'm still in pain when I try to put weight on my leg--

It has been a very long recovery----I'm not complaining---there are many people in much worse shape than I am.------I just hope I will be able to walk when the roses are blooming.

Dear Florence,
Thanks so much for the update. You and Robyn are still in my prayers. I'm glad she is finding her strength and feeling more confident. You are an inspiration for me, Flo. I badly sprained both my ankles a month ago, and everytime I start to feel sorry for myself, I remind myself of what you have been through this winter and how upbeat your attitude remains in spite of your setback. Hopefully, we will both digging in the dirt, and enjoying a summer full of roses.

JUst learned that Rick has dropped his appeal for Feb 4----Maybe his lawyer has talked some sense into his head---I've been told the Judges don't care for people who keep appealing a court decision. As of now Rick makes at least 10 times what Robyn makes and he is arguing over 700 dollars----- Jared (the 15 year old) will not answer either his mother's call or mine---Plus Rick also will not respond so I have no way of knowing how my grandson is doing----Looks like he has been completely brainwashed It sure is a sad situation. Robyn seems to be accepting the situation a little better----Christmas was rough on her----Hope she continues on this path Rosemary---it was nice to see you posting---I've been wondering how you are----please call if you are not busy Florence

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Angi---------I remember you --it has been a long time--GW doesn't seem the same anymore---many are now on Facebook-- I won't be doing much gardening anymore since my second back surgery----I'm lucky to be walking but have to be very careful---------hopefully the roses will survive---Grandson's (Max) graduation was lovely---we had a nice time------ My grandson Eric will be graduating this May ------college is out by Pittsburg------long trip------hopefully we will make it----- Robyn's divorce still dragging on-------hopefully it will be over soon---It has been very painfull for all of us Hope all is well with you and your roses will soon be blooming------ Thanks for thinking of me----Florence

Peyton is doing good. Luckily the cyst doesn't hurt or interfere with breathing or eating. Me I am not holding up to good, you can see current adventures on the family update post. Barnmom, You are right I will have to try and come up with a necklace. With me unable to drive because of the pain meds and potassuim problems. So maybe I can get someone to help me out and get one. Things have been so crazy the last 5 months I am trying to just make it through. You know when things are crazy things are just bound to get worse. Stacie

Sorry, I got home and lets just say I was a little bit out of it. I definately couldn't be an alcoholic or drug addict, I feel so out of it. Let me tell you that it is worse than a c-section, and at least that way you get to take a baby home. I am really sore all over my abdomen and it is nicely bruised. When I went in firt he said I would have no restrictions, little pain and could do what I wanted Baloney, no lifting for 3 days, 3 more days of pumping and no driving. My mom has the younger 3 and my MIL has Rhiannon and they are enjoying time with Grandma and Grandpa. Dan has been big help and watches over me to make sre I don't do so much. I could post some pics if anoyone wants to see. The incissions , I was surprised being laprascopic surgery the ammoun of holes, and the sizes and all the bruising. Other than sitting still it hurts anyway I move. Thank you for all the thoughts, sufloers and prayers, It is going to be some time before I et to feeling better. Just srng my ptty party Stacie

Zeffy, I'm so glad Robyn is feeling better - one day soon she'll realize how much better life is without this man (if you can call him a 'man')and be truly happy again.

Now we just need you well! I loved our conversation yesterday; when DH came home I told him we'd talked and he agreed, we need you next door. No summer heat, seldom snow...we'd just have to figure out something for your roses to make them happy in cool coastal weather.
Be sure to let us know how your next appointment turns out - everyone here is praying for you.

Kathy, I hope you are mending too - what a winter this has been. Do you realize you are leaving a lot to our imaginations by not telling us how you managed to sprain both ankles :) I'm picturing bungee jumping myself...

Glad you are back on the forums, it's just not the same without you. I hope spring will bring a new beginning for you both. Best wishes.

Florence, I am so pleased that your daughter is doing so much better. I hope her life takes a huge turn and she makes some new positive changes. Also new friends and interests, as well as keeping up with good old friends, generally keeping busy, and spoiling herself - she deserves it.
As for you dear Florence, so sorry to hear you are still in so much pain. Please take good care, be patient, do not rush things, continue whatever exercises you need to strengthen up and before you know it you will be good as new.
