Heavy rains, time to fertilize new lawn?

I am on day 26 on my total renovation of my 4200 sf front lawn. All is going well and I have 90% germination of my new Crossfire II fescue front lawn. After some much needed rainfall, about 3 inches this week, I am wondering if I need to apply fertilizer sooner than the 6 week mark I had planned on. At time of seeding, I put the recommended rate of Scott's Pro Select 18-24-12 starter when I seeded, but after the heavy rains, do I need to hit it again at 4 weeks? The lawn has great color now, so my first inclination is to leave it alone for another few weeks. I am wondering if a half rate application now will give it that boost so I can mow a few times before winter? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
