She's dead now. That was done mid sixties so she'd have been around forty in that shot. She would have been in her eighties by now if she were still alive.

I saw her in Damn Yankees on Broadway in 1955. Boy could that woman dance.

MySpace is the one site at school that will not be tolerated. You can surf the web, check email, use Word, Excel and the other Microsoft programs, but iffin' a student is caught at MySpace they will be asked to leave the computer and let the next person, who wants it for legitimate purposes use it. At least this is the policy in use for the ~150 computers we have in the two math labs that we run. It probably going to come to getting the Tech department to just cut off access to that site on our incoming server.

It's been that big of a problem with student misusing our computers.

I've never been to MySpace. The publicity has been bad enough that i decided it was probably not for me. I guess endorphins post clinched it.

I've only been there to check out the pages of people I know. Why a 40-year-old person would do a page on my space is quite beyond me. However, I started a blog on blogger.com. Seems like a more appropriate place for a "woman of a certain age". That being, anyone over 25.

Now that would be a way to really embarras your teens. Post on myspace.

Calliope - thanks for the education. I am about 50. How I missed dating the clothes is beyond me. I thought it was a modern remake on Fosse, but I can see now that it must be from an archive. The styles are current once again, I was wearing those slacks in the 80's, and the teased hair in the 1990's. May I re-ask my question? Does anyone use MySpace.com to store and share photos? I am desperately seeking an alternative that allows sharing photo albums, not just a single pic.

Photobucket seems to be the choice around here.

Missy uses this and is very happy with it. There is a small cost but no adds and sharing albums is a big part of it. Many professionals use it and share knowledge and comments. Look around...

Back to Gwen Verdon, the piece you posted Quicrkpod, was choreographed by Bob Fosse, to whom Gwen Verdon was married. She had legs that went on forever. I remember her as the evil Lola in Damn Yankees & also in Sweet Charity & as Roxy Hart in Chicago.

She died in 2000/

Flickr is a good place to store photos. its award winning apparently.

I really enjoy myspace. Im 25 and its the perfect way to keep up with friends from school. It gets a bad rap because of those that abuse it. Sure it seems like its for kids but if wanting to keep in touch with friends is childish then i'll never grow up and thats not all bad:) I gotten back in touch with people who i havent seen in 7 plus years. Its not for everyone but its fun to check out at least.
